DON'T FORGET THE WEIGHT OF ME!

I'm an eerie ghost of things that were.
The collective conscience of terror.
I'm a remembrance of evil matters.
Hitler and the rage of waters.

Don't forget the weight of me.
If you do you'll die, you see.
The things that'll come will never be.
The ghost of me will not be free.

I'm the cloud in your sky.
The failures of you're every try.
I'm the essence of your why's.
The gloomy tears in your eyes.

I'm your heart, your will and lust.
The confidence in your trust.
I'm your fears, and all your musts.
The beauty of your disgusts.

Don't forget the weight of me.
If you do you'll die, you see.
The things that'll come will never be.
The ghost of me will not be free.

Do not forget the weight of me!

powerful, poigant, poetry. You show great wisdom in this warning. If we forget, we are doomed to repeat. Evil is very strong and will not cease even when we think we have overcome it. It lurks; it hunts; it preys; it seeps; it pollutes; it kills. Excellent Poem! kathy
