Longing... longing...

I wish

I wish you wrote a letter and tell me how you are
That you understand me better and picked me up here with your car
I wish that we could fly away to the sun, a golden beach
And there you're gonna tell me that you're not out of reach.

There so much I wish but so little to come true
and I don't know if I can live this life away from you
But what I need of you the most is your sweet sincerity
'cause without I die a bit and fades away into eternity.

I wish so much for both of us, half of it would be alright
I wish that you would come to me and from here we walked on straight
I wish that we could stand above the slander of the past
We won't live till end of time but our love will last.

There so much I wish but so little to come true
and I don't know if I can live this life away from you
It's not so much the distance but the way you treat my soul
Don't take my love for granted you can turn silver into gold.
