They say you keep making mistakes until you learn from them. I hope that's true.

Lessons2

We all get locked up sometimes; in the mental
hospital I learned that you can't mess up
if you're not all there, and that being crazy
is no big deal.

We all get locked up sometimes; in the hospital
I learned to take one day at a time, or if necessary
one hour at a time, and sometimes one minute
at a time.

We all get locked up sometimes; in that place
I learned that people really like me and it's OK
to tell people you love them, but the mental ward
is no place to fall in love.

We all get locked up sometimes; at 8-Center I
learned to shower, and eat, and get up, and write
and go for a walk everyday, and that people who
seem OK aren't always OK.
