Napolean Bonaparte ' I would rather face a battallion of Prussian hussars than one hostile journalist with a pen' The tail line has a dual  twist.

Careful With That Writing Pen by M.A.Meddings entry for the jinx challenge

my weapon is a writing pen
and with it i write my heart
it is full of the inks of my desire
and i use it to softly entice
to employ my often erotic  thoughts
and  write of  a love within my soul
i would baulk  to write ever  of hate
keep your swords and your manicles
if i meet  at the crack of dawn
it would  be with  my  stiffest  pen

Indeed, there is no better weapon for anything...
The weapons used by Russians against a lone lady of a free mind and conscience makes her pen even sharper after death... I should write a poem about it.

This is quite a theme, Mike!

I have seen the work of that pen. It is mightier than the sword. : ) kathy
