Fool's world
and if I could see the reason, could I fail?and if I could have my way, would I succeed?
and if by force they make me throw it all away?
would it be for nought my presence here so pale?
that I could believe in this world, and make it pure
do you have the time and place for us to heal?
and could you give me five good reasons to believe?
and if by chance they'd make me throw it all away?
one might have thought to some I could appeal
I sure as hell would lose my faith in this world, that's for sure
is it possible I could find some empathy?
and do you think there're people out there just like me?
would they also make me throw it all away?
how appreciative I'd be if they could make me see
I won't believe in this world anymore, anymore
