Inspired by a true incident, that too place.

Have some Faith in me

By : Audrey Barber

Is it so hard to have some faith in me
Is it so bad to let your love out
Is it so hard to let go of all the faults I made
Have any of them reflected on you
They were just my mistakes
Can't you have some faith in me

You just go on telling me
About the things I should have done
The person I should have become
Must you go on dragging the past on me
I have no use of them anymore
Does it matter what I have done or been
With all my faults I was there for you
Can't you have some faith in me

I have traveled many a lonely road
I have met many a hardship too
I have seen death lurking in my face
I have trod where you have not
Never put you in any harms way
Guided you to do the right
Protected you from doing my mistakes
Can't you have some faith in me

Winds of trouble have blown my way
Hurricanes by the number I have dealt
Floods and tornados my life had been
A sea of tears I have wept
You stood by watching my heart bleed
Can't you have some faith in me

Took my chance with life and won
Shirked my duties, No never did I
Support I gave strongly standing
Although my heart was terribly aching
Did I ask for any in return
Can't you have some faith in me

Have I failed you even once
Did I betray you at any time
Have I refused you along the way
Promises made I always kept
Have I abandoned you ever at all
Have you gone hungry any day
Now have some faith me

You are my family
Am I yours now I wonder
You are my sisters and my brother
Have I ever let you down
So will you have some faith in me

It does not matter to me anymore
We have come a long way
All I want is for you all
To live in harmony and in peace
Open your hearts and let love in
Let the light shine on and have some faith in me

Just have some faith in me
