The Poem of Memory

'Tis a shame that we have to part,
But remember, I love you with all of my heart.

I'll never forget the fun things that we did
And the fun times that we had;
Like practicing doing our human pyramid
And falling on each other real bad.

Another fun thing that we did was play homerun.
We had the fast ones,
We had the slow ones,
And some just acting plain dumb.

And how could I forget the table tennis board?
That wonderful table tennis board.
We played and had fun and were exhilarated when we scored.
There were some great players... actually, a lot as you can see.
But the rare thing was playing against a person,
Who sucked as bad me.

Now I unfortunately must end this poem;
This poem of memory.
And at the end of this poem
I hope you'll be very happy.

I wish you the best in all of your endeavors,
And everything that you do.
And don't ever give up on that shooting star
'Cuz some day your dreams just might come true.

Beautiful. I think everybody can relate to the loss of a friend. I love the change of pace; it adds to the emotion. Very nice work.
