Finding a Voice
Run right into your heartAnd tell me what you find
I know all the thoughts you hold
But something was left behind
We all have feelings
And emotions galore
But how do you express them?
Do you fly low or soar?
Are they loud like the roar of a lion?
Or soft like the rapturous glow of the moon?
Does the emotion run through you wild and free?
Or more discreetly, do you hum a subtle tune?
Express them however you wish
Search deep inside your zen
Just don't let them lay latent
I implore you: freely express them
I yearn to know, I want to feel
Reveal to me what's hidden within
Because every sonorous emotion you pen
Helps me in a way you can't even imagine.
