Note: The word Idol is not misspelled

Dismembered

Gutted
Eviscerated
A life hanging upside down from meat hooks
Its majesty a puddle of wet entrails lying in a heap
Hungrily watched by jackals
Idol curiosity seekers
Waiting for the choicest cuts ready for roasting
On the spent coals of his beacon fire
A life's great adventure parted out to the cowards that
Wait on the sidelines of life's battle
Safe from the carnage
Ready to scavenge his leavings
May this warrior's soul find rest
even as his life is ridiculed in death
While his corpse feeds those who feared his strength

i believe the warrior's soul did find the rest, because of dying while doing what he was best at...and i guess things like that always happen in life...
i had quite an experience reading it! thank you
