Short Story about Vampires

Fatal Kiss Pt2

  Fatal Kiss Pt.2

As we walk down the street sipping on our coffees. I ponder upon the thought of what I have come to do to Ahnashia on this night. Maybe I should just call it an evening.

There is something very mysterious about you Otazon.

What do you mean?

Nothing negative or anything like that, it just your mannerisms, the way you move, your eyes. Sometimes I feel as though your reading into my soul, reading my mind. It just seems that there is so much more to you than meets the eye.

You are indeed very perceptive, and correct in your observations of me. There is a lot more to me than meets the eye, a whole lot more.

Would you be willing to share it with me?

Do you think your ready to know the answers to your inquiries?

See, stuff like that, you speak so eloquently, as if your much older, from a different period of time or something. But yes I want to know.

You will be shocked, by what I divulge, and find it hard to believe.

Try me.

I'm a vampire

(Laughing) Okay, that clears everything up.

You don't believe me?

No, I think, that was not the answer I was looking for.

Do you see that one way store window across the street?

Ahnashia turns to look, as she does Otazon is standing across the street in front of the window, but there is no reflection of him in the glass.

What the hell!

Ahnashia drops her cup of coffee in shock, but before it can hit the ground, Otazon comes up from behind her and catches it.

Oh shit! what the fuck kind of thing are you?

As I told you, I am a vampire. That's why there was no reflection in the glass, and the reason I can move as I do.

Dam, I was thinking maybe you were from a different country, or something like that.

Well, you asked me. I will not lie to you

So......were you planning on killing me?

Actually, I was thinking of bring you over.

What does that mean?

Making you a vampire

Don't you have to kill me to do that.

In a way. I have to end your mortal life, in order to bring over into immortality.

And what if I don't want to be a vampire?

Then you are free to go

Just like that?

Yes, just like that Anashia, go ahead, walk away

Ahnashia does not move. She just stands looking at Otazon.

Why are you hesitating?

I......don't know

Before Anashia's mind can move into it's next thought, I snatch her into my embrace

Her body surrendered into mine. The warmth of living flesh, against the cold deadness, of mine. I feel her life force surging through me. I pulled her even closer. A sigh escapes her lips and echoes through my mind taking me even further into the moment of her. Our bodies molded into each like puzzle pieces. I feel the softness of her breast against my chest as it rise and fall with each inhale and exhale. My hand slowly moves up her back. The scent of her perfume slowly creeps into my nostrils.

Then I hear it, the sound of her heart pumping blood through her. The thump of her pulse through out her body with each rhythmic thud of her heart. In my mind's I can see it flowing through every very vein of her body. Her pulse quickens. It's resonance is magnified through my senses now, sounding like a loud drum beat, beckoning me. If there were any illusions that I briefly entertained, they vanished. Her throbbing pulse has snatched me back into the reality of what I am. There is no more compassion, no more hesitancy, nor doubt of purpose. All confusion has evaporated. I am a vampire. A creature of the night, with an insatiable thirst for blood. A thirst that can only be quenched by the death of another. She should have heeded my warning. Taken the opportunity to escape the fate that will soon be hers to bare, for the rest of eternity. for now, she is my victim.

I can feel her body begin to tremble with fear. It is much too late for such a thing now. I bite deep into her neck piercing into her jugular. Her body tenses for the initial shock of pain. Her blood bursts into my mouth, so hot, so sweet, even sweeter than I had imagined. I levitate into the air with her to avoid detection, all the while drinking from her, my sweet Anashisa, whose sweet blood almost had  me slipping to a state of intoxication. We had risen some 70 feet into the moon lit sky. I watched as the stars lit up the sky as if they were electrical lights. The night breeze whisk by our faces. Her grip had now loosened, I was so lost drinking from her I almost dropped her. I took her to her apartment and laid her atop of her bed.

In the next day or so my dear, the change shall begin, then we shall consummate our union. Until then, sleep peacefully my love.
