The time has come when right is wrong and wrong is right

Black Sabbath Is Upon Us

She felt the shiver go down
it was like all the others
it started in her mind
and as she curled under the covers
it settled in her heart
and there it took its place
in the ever colder part
that could not be embraced
It had not always been thus
warmth had once been there
it kept the love alive
it made her heart full of care
but a slashing wound had drained
all that was right and just
the warming blood of love
that enables the heart to trust
only a few drops remain
they leave with each shiver
And a shiver is created
with each untruth the world gives her
love and romance,
mercy and justice
beauty and truth
none can trust us
It will turn stone cold
because we are not honest
we won't listen when we're told
Black Sabbath is upon us

this sent shiver all over me. It hurts and lasts and shapes the ones who deal with the reality of it. This is profound poetry.
