The last line is inspired by a page from a Gary Larson frame from The Far Side many eons ago, but etched in memory, forever.

Rudy Knows WHAT?

Vladivostok nights
harbor lights
brighten
Summer sights
to Autumn rays
through Moscow days
Winter's frigid ways

From Ural peaks
high and cold
to Volga River
flowing bold
a Russian speaks:

Дождь в Испании падает главным образом в равнину

"What?"

"The rain in Spain
falls mainly
to plain."

"Who said that?"

"Rudy."

"Why?"

"He is cognizant of meteorological phenomena
referencing processes of aqueous flows of fluid
through elevated temperature acquisition,
evaporation by process of distillation, condensation,
and precipitation."

"Hunh?"

"Rudolf, the Red, knows rain, dear!"
