love has a flavorful effervescience that inspires dreams

Strawberries and Champagne

Sing to me lover
Cover me in champagne
Feed me fresh strawberries
Take me to Spain

Read to me lover
Stories of romance
Tell me of my beauty
Walk with me in France

Dance with me lover
Across the ballroom floor
Whisper sweet nothings
Of endless amour

Write to me lover
Passionate poetry
Capture my heart with
Words eternally

Soar with me lover
Through galatic streams
We'll follow our hearts
To utopian dreams

you describe the feeling that tender love is made of ... and you describe it wonderfully ....... I just read and float on each every word ... saying ..yes ...this is the way it makes us feel ...

when we feel this for a lover ... and if by chanse the feeling is mutual .... life is a wonder ...

beautifully written ,,,,,,,,,,,,,

best wishes

Perfectly wonderful! This poem is like a perfectly fitted tuxedo, it is cut exactly to fit with nothing out of place, each seam laying flat against the wearer, each angle and hem taylored specifically for just one body. Each word is perfect. Each line is perfect. Each stanza is perfect and as a whole, presents a perfect picture of a perfect love poem.
