Poems are Timebombs

"Roses are red
violets are blue
For your poems that I read
I will say to you

'You think they are great
You think you are IT –
Well, your poems I hate!
You're so full of shit!'"

The poet was younger
a lover of art
she wrote not from hunger
but penned from her heart.

The critic as waiting
with more vile words
"I still hate yer writing
'bout flowers and birds."

With a leer he commented,
instead of "Good Luck.!"
he stated, demented:
"Yer poems still suck!"

No more should she take
this poet instead
for justice's sake
the critic shot dead!

Individuality
i think we all have to be wary when offering critiques, i have discovered that even with the best of intentions when offering advice and corrections to people, that people still take offence at what is said. of course if someone is outright nasty then that is not good, but we can all still offer opinions and still holds smiles.

Well there are a few professions that I would like to put up against a wall NADP!lol but only in my imagination. Teachers being my first at the present time. Most are C**ks according to my son and I must admit he is not far off and I suppose all critics think they can teach because they are crap at writing for sure!lol This poem is certainly a time bomb, suicide springs to mind, watch out for incomming!lol Tai
