My granddaughter Madison has been staying with me for the last few days because she has been running a fever and has a cold. Her mommy and daddy are working so Nana comes to the rescue and is blessed to have this sweet little girl visit. I took the pic

Seven in May

oh my lovely Juicy Peach
with cheeks round and fine
that sit beside your perfect nose
and grace your face sublime
And as those sky-blue eyes shine
your sweet lips reveal your age
A little girl, a six year old
with teeth that engage
anyone who sees you smile
is blessed beyond all measure
for you are a joy in life
a gem, a gift, a treasure

gol (giggling out loud!) What a joy! I feel tickled all over with feathers and boas and little girls fingers and toes. Is there anything cuter than this picture? You've written about this juicy peach perfectly and shown us what Georgia could never duplicate or come near to copying. This face should be advertising something, who could resist? Why not peaches???

This poem, like its subject, is cute;
Line 4 I find truly a hoot!

So adorably cute! Six years, soon seven... The tooth fairy is busy these days, I see ;-)
