Set Me Ablaze

Set me ablaze without pity
Increase the supply of fuel so that it neither go down or quench
Expand its reach from coast to coast

Let all men see it and rejoice
Let the angels of heaven bear witness and be glad
Let the earth cry out and be happy

For this is a fire that is not hurting
A fire refreshing to the body and soul
A memorable fire that the heart can not forget

Set me ablaze with the fire of your love
Let the ignition burn both me body and soul
Baby I love you more than words can express

Set me ablaze

Alfred Iwerebor
Only one fire I know of that burns and doesn't consume or leave things in feeble ash and it's not desire.
It's called God fire.

The title drew me into the flames, then for a second it was hell and then the angel of love rescued me in it's assurance of pure sweet love. I suppose that could be the journey of love. Excellent poem on romance. I think that should be 'Expand its reach' but maybe not. Smiling at you, Tai
