The Starlight Drive In


I'm excited for summer
to come again
when days will be longer
and nights will be warmer,
and we'll go down to the
Starlight Drive In and
pay for two movies
that we won't watch.
We'll make out through
the first one and then lay
cuddled up and warm,
in a down sleeping bag
in the box of your
pick up truck, looking up
at the canopy of stars
Above the Starlight Drive In.

ah the drive in - something we have never really embraced in this country, we just have movie theatres here. mind you even if there were in this country, i do not drive a car so it would be no good for me lol
