It is a poem about a girl, who refused the materialistic life and ran behind the spiritual life( Tantra). Boy who loved her goes to monk to ask a solution to this.
In India some of the spiritual monks use Lemon for the spiritual magic.

bring a lemon

She vanished
In whirl of finding truth,
Where we came? Why we came?
With bright eyes, curious soul,
She vanished...

Monk with a mocking laugh
Tingled my heart with
Clenched sight

He shouts .... Bring a Lemon
I will bring back her ...
How can he..?

The love which can't
The dream which can't
How can the lemon..?

He shouts bring a lemon

I said she vanished in search of Lotus
Between the Eyebrow.

He shouts bring a Lemon
I will bring back her...

Raghavendra
The poet is very sure that she never returns back.
He knows that his love or his longing cannot bring her back.
But he has dreams to bring her back and makes a last desperate attempt, he goes to a monk. While the monk says very surely that he can bring her back with the help of a lemon, the poet laughs at it.
He redicules the monk and at the same time redicules himself for making this attempt of seeking the help of the monk.
The poet returns back. Though he does not hope to bring the lemon, the words remain in his mind, the hopeless words `bring a Lemon I will bring back her...'

Nice a poem... but the poet does not tell why bring her back!!!

Individuality
we learn something new every day, now i know lemons are used in such a way. stumbled a little with - 'I will bring back her...' it flows smoother if read bring her back? also maybe adding the word 'a' in this line - 'In whirl of finding truth' so it reads - in a whirl...?
