Silent Separation

You are speaking to me,
But when was it we stopped talking?
You hear me
When was it you quit listening for me?
You touch me,
When was it you stopped feeling me?
You see me
When was it that you quit looking?
You lie next to me
When was you quit sleeping with me?
You make plans with me
When was it you quit dreaming with me?
You laugh at me, the things I do,
When was it you quit laughing with me?
You will smile for me
When was it you stopped smiling at me, because of me?
You will sit next to me
But you no longer sit with me.
You'll ask about my day
But won't you ask about me?
You'll say you love me
But won't you tell me why?
When did that secret we shared die?
When did it slip away?
I am your wife
When did I stop being your girl?

You are standing next to me,
But when was it that you left me?

it is so painful. and so beautifully you write it. poems written in reality, are always the best and different. Some times we forget to say hi, sometimes we forget to ask how r you? it happens when someone works hard. but it doesnt mean that he doesnot love you.

nice poem.

I can see how you are hurting. You are in anguish. But an enemy is at work here, trying to destroy you at your most vulnerable spot. Your husband loves you, cherishes you, adores you. You and he are fighting the same deamon, that manic depression deamon that wants to devour you and destroy your home. Recognise that, dear daughter, and join forces. Together you and your husband can defeat this aweful thing.
