A WISH

Oh! how I wish to turn back the pages of my life
and edit all my sufferings, pain, misdeeds and strife.
Oh! how I wish that if I could satart afresh,
and be everything I dreamt of before I lay myself to rest.

Too tired of always being under the spotlight,
I so wish to be the person they wanted me to be.
but may be if you were in my shoes you would know how it feels like,
to be nagged around,your soul choked so you never wish to be free.

Too many expectations, hopes and dreams that I had to meet,
before I started I had to pause for a while to breathe life into me.
Because I knew they will never give up and I am too afraid to give in.
All I wanted was to feel life before I was set for an eternal spin.

Oh! how I wish to turn back the pages of my life,
if I cant live the way I want then wher's the point.
Oh! how I wish if you could love me for all that i had,
my soul would be still alive, I am just a puppet now hope you are glad.
