The light that shatters the darkness chapter 1

The Crystal forest shined brightly and Lorelina the fairy of light searched for a fairy her age named Faith. She then flew toward Faith when she ran into a weird-looking plant. Before Lorelina could do anything the weird purple plant grabbed her and was about to eat her when Faith destroyed the plant with a blast of dark energy. Lorelina said after they got away from the purple plants "thanks for saving my life, Faith. I owe you one." Faith then replied while she rested with Lorelina at a tree "Okay, but now we got to go back to the village before the demons appear." Lorelina nodded flying with Faith. They arrived at the village seeing Lorelina's brother sparrow drain a water fairy dry then flew back to his den near the end of the Crystal forest with an evil grin. After Faith and Lorelina arrived at the village they headed on to see the light council. The light council of the fairies shone as bright as the morning sun with their honeydew gowns and wavy long blonde hair along with their diamond wings flapping gently, they were known to be graceful, serious, and strict to all of the light fairies that lived in the village. Faith and Lorelina entered the glorious cathedral of the light council quietly without being called out by a guard or someone of authority. "Faith and Lorelina... we have expected you." said the ominous voice of the main fairy of the council named Selendra who was a light fairy of the sea as she quietly shut the big wooden door behind them. Faith who just wore a fairy child outfit of pure vanilla sugar and rose petals replied to Selendra in a friendly tone "We have come to give you the plans of the dark fairies. May I continue, Selendra?"

Selendra nodded as she calmed the seas in the enchanted beach. Faith then told of how the dark fairies planned to wipe out the entire fairy race and destroy the world as Selendra nodded in concern. When Faith finished, Selendra said facing the girls as she patted them on the back "I think the dark fairies will be dealt with in due time, but for now I want you to go play and stop worrying so much. I mean, what could happen?" The girls nodded when all of a sudden the cathedral windows broke and out dropped three goblins as they surrounded Selendra, laughing. They then escaped with Selendra chanting "Hail Toxicidia the soon to be new ruler of this fairy less world!" Faith and Lorelina gasped as the goblins left with Selendra. The youngest of the light council known as Philippe who was only 13 and a young council starlet who wore a dress of diamonds and pebbles with short blonde hair who was Selendra's daughter and had learned to fly recently said to Faith and Lorelina "I want you guys to go save my mother. I can protect the council cathedral with the other starlets. Here...take these magic weapons; they'll protect you from harm. Please bring her home safely." Faith nodded as Lorelina replied "Don't worry Philippe, your mother will be returned safely to you. Take care!" Philippe waved bye.

Faith watched Lorelina in her fairy child outfit of blueberries and maple syrup then said "Well, we better get started on going to save Selendra. You think it was wise to let Philippe along with the other starlets to protect the cathedral?" Lorelina nodded and after packing up for the journey along with Faith she said "We're a team now so let's go save Selendra and maybe the world from the dark fairies." Faith nodded and they flew off away from the crystal forest in which they started their very first adventure to save the fairy world from the darkness.
Toxicidia walked out of the purple-plant garden refreshed by the energy that one of the plants supplied her with. Her long black hair blew in the wind as her black eyes stared at her world with hatred while walking in her fairy outfit of blood and ashes. Toxicidia was exiled and alone in the world of the fairies, not because of her dark purple-bat wings...it was because she didn't fit in with the fairies' way of life. The dark fairies that were exiled with her had stayed by her side because they were Toxicidia's friends. Toxicidia then arrived back to her hideout at a dead tree as the goblins appeared with Selendra and they tied her to one of the tree's lower branches as Toxicidia looked at Selendra in a rage of fury. "Selendra...for what you did to me and my friends 3 years ago, you will die along with the rest of your race!" Toxicidia boomed as her voice as acrid and poisonous as a snake made Selendra shake in fear. Toxicidia then laughed evilly as the goblins laughed with her. Toxicidia's plan was to drain the whole fairy race that exiled her making them extinct so she could have a world of only dark fairies to live by.

Meanwhile Faith and Lorelina had made it to the tree that was above the purple plants so they rested for a while. "Selendra is probably in danger...Toxicidia might kill her." Faith said as she looked at the plants below in disgust. Lorelina then replied pouring water on her face from the tiny pool of water on her face that was on a green-leaf "I've heard of her. She and her dark fairy friends drain fairies to stay young. They also torment them. I hope your brother Sparrow isn't one of them." Faith nodded then they flew on.
