It's been almost two weeks since I last wrote poetry. I've been so busy this summer doing theatre that I have had no time to write. Here is my short poem for you after two weeks of stress and work.


Blooming Gloriously

Upon horizon, laying low
The seed of light begins to grow
Stalkish beams of blazing fire
Ignite the air in massive pyre
The clouds in shock, below the torch
Springs this child from its perch
Shadows marching on the shelf
Blooming gloriously for its self
