Bonding and bondage, how they relate
By way of
parceling goods
and tying knots
one learns
with passing tries
what not to knot
and how to
fasten things
safely
make slipknots
and easily
released bonds
there has to be
a means of hasty retreat
should trust fail
no silken ropes
can hold
where the heart
is not first held
in the thrall
of mutual devotion
if you are ready
you may be restrained
in freedom's
careful bonds
