Do you believe

Do you believe that angels cry
And that their tears fall down as rain
Do you feel the joy of soaring high
Whilst lesser men such risk refrain

Do you believe it is your right
To speak your mind appear a fool
To stand with nature in it's plight
To shout and scream to break the rule

Do you believe that you should care
That others would your thoughts deride
As in derision your soul you bare
Whilst they with masks true feelings hide

Do you believe with all you feel
It right to shake the lepers hand
To walk alone in thoughts surreal
And not march with some others band

Do you believe in simple truth
As alone you sit upon the hill
And not partake of bitter fruit
As lies turn banquet to pigs swill

Do you believe in guiding light
Of love eternal spirit free
Hid not in shadow but in plain sight
Then I believe you be like me.
Brendan.
