Profound? nah just some nonsense with a bit of rhyme

hmmmmmm or is it? you decide.

Animals in the Wild are Rarely Ever Mild.

Gorillas in the mist
Fight baboons with their fist
The war will never cease
Until the Chimps' demands increase
Monkeys throwing dung
While by their tails they are hung
Scattered shattered jungle
Their world is all bungled
From bites and blows that are brutal
The search for peace is futile
For the animals in the wild
Are rarely ever mild
When threatened by expulsion
They create a hate explosion
Rampant, Raging, Wars
Whose the killing for
All the kingdoms of the zoo
Are crying out for truth
But the one and only answer
Comes from inside the dancer
Who demands and commands for money
While laughing at nothing funny
Just the capture of the free
Leaving them bound on their knees.

Very nice write. The sad treatment of animals is a stain on civilized man how dare we think we're superior...the Eagle is more adept at survival, the Rabbit more prolific and the Fox more cunning. I enjoyed the sentiment. Happy trails.

Dian Fossey would have printed this out and pinned it on her sleeve!
All of Leakey's women would. Entertaining AND profound, and it should be read for children of all ages!
