Inspired by the witty humour in Jeherico C's great limericks. Not a limerick but a contemporary twist on an old Nursery Rhyme. A little bit of fun for F.i.in.e Moods oldest son. The protagonists are some of his favourite characters.
Hey diddle diddle
A duck landed in the middle
Of a volcano that was just erupting.
The little dog laughed to see such fun,
While the cow was busy constructing.
A shiny spaceship for the dish and the spoon
Because they were tired of running away.
They wanted to live with Nemo the fish
On the Far Side of a cartoon day.
The racoon, said "Cool
But what about the duck?
How do we prevent its demise?"
Badaboom! badaboom! Whooosh and wazoooom!!
Went the volcano to everyone's surprise.
The fastest duck you have ever seen
flashed in front of the porcupines eyes.
The little dog was stunned.
The skunks began to hum.
The Crazy Frog was playing the fiddle.
The vultures cheered,
They hadn't eaten for years.
And the rat started skipping over his tail.
The mammoths were bemused
By little ants in red shoes.
The possum was hip hop dancing.
The rabid squirrel foamed.
While the sloth played trombone.
And the tortoise fell out of his shell.
The komodo dragon roared
As he jumped over the moon,
While a choir of slugs sang an old 60's tune.
Badaboom! wazoooom splatadee splat!!
The duck from the heavens fell onto the cat.
The sleepy bear rose with a wide grinning smile:
"Hooray! Crispy duck, Chinese style!"
