Madison and I collaborated on her first poem. I just helped her with some typing, spelling, and suggested a few rhyming word.  she made the choice. This is her story poem. She is 7 years old, my oldest grandchild. The title is all hers. : )

The Tired Knucklehead by Madison Carter age 7

once there was a knucklehead
who accidentally knuckled his head
until he went to bed

when he awoke
he knuckled his head some more
and fell to the floor
so he doesn't knuckle his head anymore

and he was tired

the end

Miss Madison you are a wonderful poet
And I know it
because you show it
Love you,
Aunt Philly
who is silly
like a billy
goat named
Willy!
