a rose for her


a rose

A rose i shall give for her to hold
A gentle hug when she is cold
A hand i shall hold when we walk
And loving words when we talk

I will tell her ever day
I love her so and forever stay
She will have this heart of mine
When i am away i shall pine

Sitting alone i will hug her right
Keep her close all though the night
When i awake i will love her more

Someday i will me my heart and soul
And love her now and when we are old

But one thing i know until then
I will grow a rose for the one i will hold
