Ancient Chinese Proverb

I dreamed a thousand new paths.
I woke and walked my old one.


I think I'll change direction,


I think I'll change direction,
It could be for the best?
There may be milk and honey,
Cushions soft on which to rest?

I will walk a path that's new?
Adopt a healthier stance,
Take a risk or two,
My ambitions to enhance.

I shall temp my fate?
Look for horizons new,
Take a different route,
See other peoples view.

The new path may be hard,
I may get in a state,
I don't know what to do,
I think I'll vegetate.
