Ashes to Ashes, Trust to Dust

Secrets I'm meant to keep
I've sewn my lips
I've dug the grave

Finished the fire
Among the ashes
Nothing to save

I've thrown the key
Nothing left to see

All is left
Is for you to come

I'll lock you up, shut you down
Trample upon the dirty ground
Until your heartbeat ceases - oh! it fails
Blood stains dry under my fingernails

A sad laugh, a final smile
A goodbye for a long while

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
this trust, like metal diminished to rust
