Blackboard Jungle

There's a place under the sun
Where every child is given time
To seek and share his full potential
With dignity and honor.
In that place he will create
A destiny where peace prevails;
A citizen who loves his country
And an enlightened leader.

Blackboard Jungle,
a place of wisdom and pride;
Where sons and daughters have greatly derived
Their knowledge and training for life.
Blackboard jungle,
The anvil of body and mind;
Where sons and daughters do really strive
For excellence with joy and pride

It's an institution for us to trust
For they have mentors who can guide us.
They are a people with dedication
And the commitment to serve the nation.

I like the blackboard jungle concept, very well thought through poem of learning and acquiring knowledge and still presenting the power of the teacher. Well done.

This has the feel of a song Winston. I have many wonderful memories of my school days and some I would rather forget (many of those came in my teenage years). No matter, this is a well written poem that brought aroused many feelings within me.
