A poem about my littlesister. It is hard to put it in words, but I do my best.

My littlesister

I feel you deep in my heart,
every night and every day.
I am thinking of you,
and my heart starts to bounce.

Your lovely smile that lights
up my darkest days.
Your eyes on me,
I am a hero. I am your hero!

Oh, dear I love you so.

What would I be without you?
It was you that kept me fighting,
It was you that kept me alive.
You told me I had to live, for you.

Your face, it is looking at me
and your lips
they tell me that you love me.
Then you smile, running at me.

Oh, dear I love you so.

Hugging me, holding my hand.
Feeling you warming me up.
I am safe with you, I am
the strongest person on earth!

Careing for other people,
Downs syndrome or not.
They are all equal people in your eyes.
Helping the ones that need it most.

My littlesister, so bright and smart.
My littlesister, the sunshine in my life.

My littlesister at the age of nine,
the greatest hero now alive.

How truly honest this poem really is. It speaks of love in its truest, simplest form. Simply lovely.

Black Knight
Family is the only true treasure that many of us have.
And it is necessary to be able to appreciate it.
All the best to you and your sister :)
