sometimes there's just not enough brownies for everyone.

Dark Chocolate Daze

Enter into my dark chocolate daze
Where brownies with walnuts
And fudge covered glaze
Are baked in a pan
And set out to cool
Waiting for someone to eat them
After school

But wait...

There's no one here but me;
No kids getting off the bus.
No us, just a me, you see.
But what do I hear?
Whose calling my name?
Oh, this can't be true.
It's the brownies calling, 'MOM,
We need you!'

So...

I gave them my all
Just like a good mother should.

Delicious!

When young, I ate only milk chocolate; but the dark kind tastes better and better... :-,?

Hih, how positively cute. :D

A wise man knows not to come between a lady and her cravings for chocolate. ;D
