Teardrops

Teardrops smear the words
Small streaks that prove my heart
Smudges of love I guess you could say
I just wish these drops would wash away my pain
I write the letters without wiping my eyes
I just let the tears fall,smearing the lines
Not at all to get your sympathy
But to let you know there's still love in me
They're just to let you know,as cold as my heart has become
These tears in my eyes prove it's not numb
