Five Star Love

They spilt ice cold champagne
upon pristine sheets
in the indulgence of long
languid hot days.
Everything in excess
and more besides.
When he whispered
she followed
enticing him to lead.
The sounds of traffic
far below and footsteps
on parched pavements,
were just an echo
and fruits have never
tasted quite so sweet.
Days blurred and became
a memory of senses,
secret laughs and indulgence.
Happiness swung from chandeliers
that hung with soft lingerie,
the adornment of bodies
soon to be discarded.
He pours and she drinks
from crystal, sharing sips
with velvet inviting lips.
Summer forgotten
in the entwining of torsos
as luxuriously spent
with the gifts of
Five star love.

signed.
luxurious, decadent, beautiful.

your diction is fabulous, your imagery beyond compare. the most valuable writers are ones who can write about something that might not outwardly interest me [love in a hotel?] and make it into their own. erase the cliches, turn it into something fun and amazing to read.

the only thing that jarred was the "when he whispered she followed enticing him to lead" <--- maybe throw a comma in there for clarification?

other than that, fantastic piece.

This brings forth such wonderful images and for myself memories of a time spent in Italy and a long hot summer, a delightful write indeed.
