Poem two from my book *~*FOR THE LOVE of VINCENT*~*

*~Starry, Starry Night~*

*~Starry, Starry Night~*

Graced among
the
dark
of
night
Vincent
poured out
his
heart
of
light
with starry skies
that
prayed on hope
he gave us his all
in
each
brush
stroke
As the
blood had flowed
through his veins
he left a gift
his paintings
his life
Vincent's
remains

i *love* the last two lines... his remains are not in a coffin, they are the legacy that he left. again, well done.

~StillHoppin

p.s. do you write about anything other than vincent? ;) ;) ;) lololol

p.p.s. not that it matters, i'll keep reading anyhow.

I like his art a lot too, especially stuff from this charcoal portrait bok I have here at home.
You capture in this poem your love of his art, and also his suffering, and the suffering of a lot of artists I guess.
Nicely done!
