I JUST LOVE TO GO FISHING!

I went fishing off Ramsgates east pear ,

Cast my line , herd the wait splash ,

As wait and hook hit the water ,

It was cold , and it began to rain ,

A storm blew up , it thundered , it

Lightninged , it rained some more ,

I got colder ,

I froze , as the rain became snow ,

The waves turned to ice as they hit me ,

And I became ,very , very wet , I turned

In to an icicle ,

Weathers wearied where I live ,

Me car got hit by fork of lighting ,

Court fire , lifted over the pear wall ,

Helped , , with me catching me hook ,

In the fender wen I cast me line ,

snatching me rod out of me hand ,

So I lost , hook line and sinker ,

Me car last seen , bobbing up and down ,

Towards France , like a ghost of a

Drake's Tudor fire ship , chasing

The Spanish amarder ,

Come 7 20 A M I called it a night ,

What did I catch , too take home ,

Too the Misses , yup, a bloody cold ,

Thats what , '' atishal'' ,

Going again next Saturday night!

This time your dyslexia triumphs in that the whole text taken together gives the same feeling as trying to stand in a storm and having rain whipping your glasses and wiping them to see with soggy wollen mits!

You forgot to tell the fish that you were just 'playing' with them. Otherwise, you would have caught a fish or two, as well as a dreary cold. I always enjoy your words...

No one ever said the life of a fisherman was easy, but they are buggers for punishment all the same, your poem brought a smile to my face and memorys to mind, nice one Ken.

Hi friend Ken..
I read the whole poem, waiting for the hook, but I guess
you saved the hook for the fish
