down, down, i go. where I stop, nobody knows.

Death March

Colors of sorrow
Dirges of morrow
March of death
No more breath
Heads hung low
Drum beat slow
Casket carried
Loved one buried
Graveyard gloom
Opened tomb
Sky turned black
No turning back
Soil of woe
Down it goes
Flowers lay dying
I lie crying
Upon the mound
Cold wet ground
Sad, sad, day
You're gone away...

A pure poem, comes from deep in your heart. It touched my heart too.
There's not much to say dear Kathy.I'm very sorry. I hope the sky will turn blue and the lights will appear in the gloom soon.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful poetry with the bay

love you,
Seda

I am lost for words. Can only think of you in your grief. Time does bring some healing, and a heart full of memories never die. Bless you.

Rage of Reason
The art of creating rhyming poetry requires skill and imagination. It becomes difficult beyond average when a poet imposes a limit to the number of syllables in each line, which makes it hard to give a poem depth of expression. Still, in this write these difficulties seem to have been overcome in an almost casual way without harming the profundity of the message. It makes it a great write. I enjoyed being on this page to read and ponder.

i know in what mood you wrote this..
but truely a loneliness and sorrowfull poem..only that person can write this who felt this sorrow and who loved someone more than anything .you can say more than his own life...

this is the beyond the limits ..
