About stepping outside your
comfort zone & not knowing
what will happen but trying anyway.

Deep End Diving

Ten feet above a
black depthless pool
Fear reflecting back
the face of feeling a fool,
Sometimes to find out just
how good you can swim
Deep End Diving can be
the best and only way to begin.

Stepping straight off the edge
into unknown free-fall,
Plunging deep into the depths
and hoping to avoid Death's door,
Then breaking the surface and...

....Finding the plunge wasn't so bad after all.

It's a scarey business Liz but it is better to leap rather than never get wet at all....toe dipping does nothing for Tai either....the adrenaline rush when we do take that leap is well worth the flight.

Smiling at you
