Where are we headin'?

Mother Nature has provided us everything, just name it, we have been blessed with everything that we need for living, sometimes even more. But we hardly use the most important thing that she has given us, yes you guessed right, its our brain. We all know the fact that humans use not more than 3% of their brains. With time as humans are discovering new inventions and making their life more easy, the percentage is also shrinking. Most of us don't know the difference between right and wrong, get into the wrong stuff and do the wrong things. We forget to think twice before leaping and often end up falling in a pit. We forget the importance of values and traditions in our lives, and realise them only when its too late.
A bit of success can screw our minds up. We start thinking that we are the best, and tend to blame our failures on somebody else. We say that we humans have brought the world to a new and unimaginable height. But what we've really done is polluted the earth, overcrowded it, and now we are killing every gift mother nature has provided us with. Right from trees to air to land to water.
To make place for our homes we are leaving the other inhabitants of this beautiful planet homeless.
We say we are born on Earth to create a difference. But I did'nt know that we would start making differences among each other. Man has become Man's worst enemy. We call ourselves one big family but brothers are fighting wars with each other. And some of them who have gone completly insane have become terrorists. We are causing harm to no one but oursleves in this run. It's time we leave behind our egos and differences. Working towards the success of everyone in this world should be our main objective. We should think thrice instead of twice before taking a decision as every step that we take can prove to be fatal. Our ancestors have already screwed up our planet. But it's upto us to save whatever we have left before it's too late.

Development always means growth and growth always leads to destruction! Man will always wage war on the planet as long as man is here! The countries of the world are like ant colonies. They can get along peacefully as long as there is resources' to be had. But once they are gone, its then each ant nest will attack its neighbour. What else can nations do with jobless soldier ants? This is the sad fate man has been living since time and memorial.

u tried to cover so much in this text..and also u succeeded. i agree to u ..where to start i dont but i liked ur text

u said that we use only 3% of our mind..i didnt know about this before..thanks ..it improved my GK.:).the next thing that due new inventions we are becoming more lazy and our mind power is shrinkng ...u can say ...there is always right or wrong aspects of everything..it is upto us ho do we use or handle...but about srhinknig..u are right..life is very easy these days as compared to years ago..but it also helps us.

i dont know about the whole world..but what i observed and felt i am going to write here

a year ago our school participated in the Green school project ...due to that teacher gave the duties to student to make ur school clean and green ..so many new plants wre planted and so clean....it was looking fantastic...botanical garden , play ground...fantastic..and our school got the 8th rank in the India...and punjab got the 1st rank as an enviromental friend state..but when v returned to our school after getting prize...again the everything was same..no more care..just nothing....i always thought was that just due to project (prize) ??
i couldnt find anser ...

i dont i am wrong or right..but what i think that we people of india, dont want to change...dont want change and dont want to be changed....

heay i dont want to be changed that forget our culture no no...i respect my culture..i think indian culture is a rich one..but we have to change our habits..if i say or tell about modernisation then i talk about modernisation in thoughts, thinking and technology...u are right that we always blame others,,,,
"taali ek hath se nahi bazti" everyone is same ...there is a project in punjab Elevated road project .a new highway is to be built (constructing these days)..but the road near the highway..has been built more than three times the thing is why dont they built it just a once with good material ..the reason is if they built it with good material then it would take years to distuction..till then how our politician get black money....

our school's first building was situated in the centre of the city ...it was the oldest school in amritsar 1854,...but buliding was nice...not like khandar....and our school was covered a large area....like a college..so that so many trees and plants were there in our college..and government ordered to build a shopping mall and a parking spot there....the case went to high court..( i dont know what was the result)..but now we have new buliding on a new place..it is also beautiful and quite big area ..now there (centre of the city ) no green belt is present...just pollution and pollution...

few days ago Muncipal corporation of Amritsar...passed the tender and gave the project to a pune based company ...the project was about Solid waste management ..that means they will produce electricity from the solid waste...but employees striked ...they say they dont want this project....u know what is the reason....if the company started project here..then they have to do work because that company is a private company....in Delhi every day 800 trollies of waste go to their way...but the thing is how much waste we produce..this is the question we must ask from our self

in our scripture we gave the top most position to this Earth ..we say this is our mother...but i think we just worship our scripture ..we dont try to understand what is written in side thses scripture..we think just donate few rupees and god will listen our pray ...

lets take an example of Ganga..

Ganga, river..or more than a river..the river whcih is a heart of indian people.. ganga's water is know as the purest water.but is it true ?? few das ago when i was working on some sort of water management project then i came to know very astonishing points...i was shocked with the data i collected..

tody we are on the scond position in world population...dont worry we'lll achieve 1st very early...am i right?? yes i am ...i think so
...we dont get the even 10th postion in the medal tally in olympics..but if we got even one..then we jsut feel very happy...so happy pata nahi kya teer maar liya....few months ago when i was reading "MTG Physics for you" ( a science based magazine , i hope u know about htat , u are in XII)..i read that Germany spending more money on research projects..because since USA has won more Nobel prizes then Germany ..so they will try to leave the USA behind...that mean i just wanna say ..look at their curosity...their passion and ambition..their vision...how many Nobel prizes we have?? u know..i think so

we say people become terrorist..ok ..yeah they become...i agree..what we never try to find the reason why they become?? what things make them insane and they reach upto this??? do we think.....


it is a part 1..i want to write and i'll just after few mins..as u have written that u dont publish ur poems due to ur shy nature...but i think u have to publish..because we do like ur poems..i liked the thoughts in ur text ..
