does it matter?

I'm inspired again, here we go

Another tasteless poem about love

about what am feeling now

why not about the hunger in my country

or the greedy power minded politicians

perhaps about the poor street beggars

How about the poor pay in this land

or the inequity between rich and poor

what of the lack of faith in God

and moral decay come to pass

Recall the senseless killing past

and the suffering left in its wake

why must i be inspired by love,

its lack therof and emotions too.

I'm inspired again, does it matter?
