I used the Fibonacci pattern to decide on the number of words for each line
I think it helps separate each thought a bit, though they are really all one idea

Never Alone (Fibonacci Lines)

In

Darkness

I sit

With my blanket

Alone, but warm and comforted

By the company of my dear dear friends

Not physically present, but still ever present in their love and protective shielding

Keeping me from harm with shear will power so that I may be... in darkness sitting alone with my blanket, comforted
