I wrote this last night as my girlfriend lay next to me asleep while I could not do so myself...

Her and Love

I love you to the point where no words exist
Where no tears are born yet happiness brings mist
And no matter where the stars are aligned in the sky
You said those first words because I was too shy
To be so joyful, to feel importance and worth
Gives me my purpose to love you and live on this Earth

It makes me feel selfish but not ashamed to say
That I am glad it is only you who can brighten my day
And I am ecstatic that only I can make you feel so good
But you deserve that much, it is never a question of "should"

Sometimes it may seem no matter what you do I am depressed
Loving you makes me realize those awful feelings are just a test
Everyone strives to be better and I am no exception
But until you entered my life I was headed the wrong direction

You sleep soundly by my side and I wish to speak my love
So I whisper in your ear and pray to God above
That one day I'll learn to stop always saying "never"
But most important: that our love with last for always and ever
