You and Me: We Valentines Day Poem

Virile you stood, so easy to see
A t-shirt of yellow and and well worn blue jeans
Looking you over I came upon
Eyes of soft blue, hair curly, sun-blonde
Nose like a Roman, lips full and wide
Torso stocky, strength in each stride
Into my life you walked with a smile
Nine months later we walked down the aisle
Every year, so far 37
Sharing our love takes us closer to Heaven

Days yet to be
All will be well
