Butterflies again


You flutter by from childhood's Christmas Eve,
Thrill me in lands of turquoise traffic light.
No matter if you stay, or if you leave,
Your trembling wings shall heighten my delight,
As love descends that stony stairy flight.
With ever radiant smile, with deep dark eyes
That send you on your way, my butterflies.
