Been editing some old ones.

My Achievement Envy

I said baby it means nothing to me,
but this won't get a poem in my diary.
I do not care about the world, more no,
when life is just keeping score.

I'm living for the simple things, but
complicated's how it always seems.
So you can take yourself; as I am.
I get the bread, I don't get the jam.

I walk in trees that somebody grew;
someone who cared about the view.
So simple; yet my achievement envy
crushes me. Crushes me.

Climb a mountain, make it better.
Hide inside a cave forever.
I could cut off all my long hair now.
Building bridges takes me too long.
All the while you need to be strong.
I should cut off all my long hair now.

And life won't shine if it can't be mine.
I'm trying not to kill myself with love,
and I'm doing fine.
