A Ballet In White.

Evergreen leaves over glades of white
In harmony with winters spite
Now hang their heads with maidens dew
With all their glory showing through

These delicate petals in fragile cast
A life so short, not meant to last
Spread across the forest glade
With scent as if in heaven made

These gentle snowdrops full of grace
In abundance now, to fill this place
A dancing ballet all dressed in white
Caress the eye in pure delight.
