Torturer Of Life Or Soul?[Sonnet]




Racing heart skips an in-flight beat
A bloodied Raven tools the bell
Panicking, you're trapped inside the heat
Black Raven signals your arrival in Hell
Is life the torturer of your soul
Or is your soul the torturer of Life?
Why does self-destruction seem your goal?
You just want an end to your constant strife
Dark clouds, for no reason, gather
Why? Are things really that bad?
"I don't know why? Do I matter?"
I wish you were not so sad
Life, surely must get better
If only I could keep it together.
