*JACK *ALDOUS *FRANZ *GEORGE *H G, ALL WARNED US

Times they are a changing ,

From this to that ,

What was , could be again,

If not already is ,

What is, will be what we fear the most,

Only worse , more than likely ,

The few will rule ,

The many such as me and you supresst, oppresst,

Held down ,

Rub our nose's in it , kick us while we're down,

By then to late it will be , to speak up , speak out,

Jack , Aldus , Franz , Gorge , H G , Kafka did worn us ,

Of what they wrote now coming

To pass ,

To hell on earth in chosen ignorance

We travel .

"Hell on earth in chosen ignorance" . . . stunning and frightening phrase Ken. I think often that ignorance is born of apathy, one telling example of which is how few of us choose to vote, too lazy to even due a little due diligence to vote wisely or at least in accordance with our conscience, which we rarely bother to examine. Perhaps that is not so in the UK. I hope not.

Wonderful, and so very true Ken.

""To hell on earth in chosen ignorance

We travel .""

Across this planet of ours, people 'see' and forget what they are truly looking at. You have spoken wisely in your poem. Thank you sir.
