The * line is not mine but a
line from Mr. Mist, thank you for that line :-)

This came about as a personal challenge
after one of my comments on someone's poem here.

Song Skips While Playing

Reality's desolute plains of Life
haunt my imagination's existence,
like a cloudy day of boredom indoors

Taunting my very being's fibre and teasing
me with your eyes, like falling stars that
hold my pounding heart captive with each look,

Just like that favourite song that
skips while playing on the cd player
so does my heart in your hands

*Skipping forwards and back again
devouring you with lustfull eyes
and a yearning for something more

Then pleasures of flesh,
a soulmate connection that
defies time conundrums of space,

But all I get is this lonely prison cell
as you look through me and walk away

.....Yet still that song skips while playing.

Mr.Mist
As i told on facebook..a great poem!
The ending makes the whole thing complete!!
But it took you some time to, Liz...but worth the time!
